Programme Overview
This workshop aims to help HR, finance, and administrative professionals run zero-error, audit-ready payroll compliant with Malaysian employment laws and statutory body regulations. This workshop covers Employment Laws, wage and overtime calculations, leave entitlements, retrenchment benefits, and statutory submission rules for EPF, SOCSO, EIS, , and, PCB/MTD.
Objectives
- Legal Compliance: Correctly interpret and apply the Employment Act or Sabah & Sarawak Labour Ordinance to make compliant payroll decisions.
- Accurate Wage Computation: Accurately calculate ordinary rates of pay (ORP), overtime rates, and termination or lay-off benefits.
- Statutory Deduction Precision: Compute EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and HRD Corp levy contributions without errors.
- Audit & Inspection Readiness: Identify common payroll compliance pitfalls to remediate them before audits, and maintain mandatory documentation to withstand Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK) Labour Office inspections.
